TALKING POETRY
All Poetry is Protest launch July, 2006
Open Space launched our its first anthology of poetry, “All Poetry is Protest” at Mocha Café as part of HIMMAT, a 2 day youth festival organised by Open Space in July 2006.
Six Pune poets read from the book and were joined in their readings by young people for over an hour. Mocha is a small space and once the inner room was full, the outer courtyard filled up and a PA system was set up so that we could all hear the poetry. People were also waiting outside the gate so that they could listen in.
