OPEN SPACE organises a theatre workshop to explore issues of urban life and community living with Atul Kumar, Director, The Company Theatre, Mumbai. The workshop will be in the form of interactive sessions and will teach participants basic theatre techniques, how to workshop a script around an issue and how to maximize the visibility of their performance.
There is a registration fee of Rs 150/- for the entire workshop, payable at the venue on the first day

A day-long seminar with members of the Mahila Rajsatta Andolan who will share their experiences of panchayati raj in Maharashtra . The MRA is a network in more than 841 villages in Maharashtra that provides women with a platform to make their voice heard in local governance. Using the institutions of Panchayati Raj, the MRA has empowered rural women to participate in their local communities with honour and dignity. Also learn how to make an audio-documentary.
