Keeping The Peace lecture presented by Open Space (CCDS) on May 5 at 6pm, Moolgaokar Hall.

'Us and Them: Tracing the contours of the historical divide.' was the title of the lecture delivered by activist Teesta Setalvad on April 15 2011. This was the seventh lecture in the Keeping The Peace series brought to Pune by Open Space.

Reading the Ramayana with Arshia Sattar

Reading the Ramayana with Arshia Sattar is always an experience in itself. For a book like the Ramayana which for 20 odd years has been bound to the single interpretations of a dominant social group, Arshia’s workshop on the Ramayana and Valmiki seemed to have released it from the shackles. The workshop was held at Open Space between the 12th-18th of March.

DIY series: Film Making with Nitin Das

Our first DIY series was held on the 8th & 9th of January 2011. The two day workshop with Nitin Das was held at Open Space, with students from Fergusson College, volunteers from CYDA and professionals.
