Sushil Sivaram

Born on the 28th of August 1978, Sushil Sivaram spent his first ten years in Baroda and then moved to Pune where he spent most of his childhood, adolescence and early adulthood. After spending a confusing three years which he calls - the sabbatical years, studying a mixture of Economics and English, he went on to read contemporary British and American poetry and prose at The University of Sheffield. Sushil studied poetry because he loved it, but as a consequence he spent a year spending quality time unemployed {read, writing?); working as a journalist and finally teaching in a school in MumbaL Somewhere in between all this he also realized that cities were not conducive to his beliefs so he quit and went to live in a village near Kullu teaching in a school there.
