Deepa Agarwal

Deepa Agarwal writes fiction and poetry for both children and adults and has had more than forty books published. Her recent titles include a collection of poetry Do Not Weep Lonely Mirror , a short story collection, If the Earth Should Move … and a children's book Not Just Girls! She has received several awards including the National Award for Children's Literature for her picture book Ashok's New Friends. She also translates and researches children's literature and has received fellowships from the Austrian government as well as the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
