Nakul Krishna is 19 years old and studies Economics in Bangalore. He is strongly influenced by the formal orthodoxy of W. H. Auden and the linguistic eclecticism of A K. Ramanujan.  He attempts to wed forms from various poetic traditions with modern idiom as a way of crystallizing thought and feeling.
